If medication is prescribed, you may ask for a written prescription and obtain the medicine from another veterinary practice or pharmacy. Medicines may be cheaper elsewhere.
Our written prescription fee is £18. We will tell you the prescription fee, medicine price and any delivery or dispensing charge before you decide.
Prescription-only medicines are supplied only where clinically appropriate and after a veterinary assessment. Some medicines, including flea and worm products, are priced by pet weight, pack size, dose and treatment length.
We will explain likely costs before treatment wherever possible. If a recommended treatment pathway is likely to cost £500 or more including VAT, we will provide a written estimate before proceeding unless delay would compromise animal welfare. If the estimate is likely to increase materially, we will update you before continuing where possible.
After treatment or supply, you will receive an itemised bill showing consultation fees, medicines, products, laboratory or external service costs, administration fees and any other charges.
All online payments are securely processed through Stripe. Payment may be required at booking, before supply, or at the end of the appointment depending on the service booked.
No charge if cancelled more than 24 hours before the appointment. £35 late cancellation fee. £70 missed appointment fee.
